Yea, I fixed it, the actual commands needed were:
ntp server vrf Mgmt-intf 129.6.15.28 prefer
ntp server vrf Mgmt-intf 129.6.15.29
I guess I'm too used to NX-OS where "vrf" is specified at the end of the command.
Ah, well that's quite unfortunate, thankfully we have another sniffing setup we can use that doesn't rely on SPAN, but it isn't ideal.
