Are there other reasons why a priority queue would drop traffic other then exceeding the bandwidth of a queue?I have a shaper configured with a child policy that includes LLQ/PQ and CBQ. When I saturate the shaper the LLQ/PQ experiences bandwidth exc...
I can't seem to find any information on the Nexus 5000 support of netflow. I assume that means it doesn't do netflow, but I just wanted to see if anyone could confirm one way or another. Thanks,Joe
We have a NLB cluster operating in IGMP multicast mode, but we still see traffic for the cluster VIP flooded out all the switch ports. Looking at Cisco documentation it seems like if IGMP snooping is enabled and the cluster is operating in IGMP multi...
I'm seeing some traffic from the voice VLAN when sniffing on one of my servers. Mostly broadcast, but occasionally unicast traffic between the CMs and some phones. When I remove the "switchport voice vlan" command from the interface which is connected...
I've implemented a shaper to limit traffic to 1Mbps, but it doesn't seem to be working. Below I can see that 1368000 and later 2912000 bps of traffic is going through the interface but the shaper is not activating. The config is at the bottom, Can ...

I know it's hard to see due to the formatting but there are no delayed packets recorded in either show output. As for the Bc, it's recommended to be the CIR/100 for real time networks to have a burst interval of 10ms. I originally had this shaper at 2...
This is not the case, No APs involved. As I mentioned in my post the loop was caused by a system with two NICs and the other ports were just normal access ports with either a host, a host and phone or just a phone attached to them.
Yes, I've seen that site, but I believe that only explains the first scenario in my post (i.e. Different MAC addresses showing up in the messages). If this does explain the second scenario, I must be missing something, and I was hoping someone could e...
