can i ask. i am going to install the vcs and vcse on cisco ucs c220 M3 Bundle. so are the vcs and vcse already installed by cisco? do i need to install?

did you do trunk between cucm and vcs? does your cucm is internal or external? you mean "candidate list has external IP in it and Lync then tries to send the call towards Lync edge server" so do you see in successful or unsuccessful call?
