any idea why the config register is not showing from the "show version" on a cisco catalyst switch like 9300?

had this problem too, ACL hit/matches not showing on 9300 switches, found out , there's an issue on the doppler chipset for 9300, the ACL will do it's job, but ACL hit will not be shown.

yes, WS-X4748-RJ45V+E is hot swappable, tried this using cisco WS-C4506-E (P5040) processor (revision 2) Version 03.08.07

when upgrading the switch version, do you stay with the current IOS Software ? or you moved to a different IOS Software? Example if the switch is on Bengaluru, do you stay with Bengaluru and just upgrade to the latest MD or you try a different IOS So...
