After having the same type of problems I came to this post. While it is answered, I do know what is going on.no shutdown your radio interface before you set your power.
Two things.1. Did you assign the role of that bridge? Root, non-root, etc.,2. Check for "install" mode on the GUI itself and that may lead to finding the problem.
