Hi Ahmed,If you look at the output of sh interface po40 on each switch are the packets input and output counters changing? This may help you confirm whether or not the link is working and if the output of sh etherchannel summ on the 3560 is in error....
Leolaohoo stated the big difference: LX/LH transceivers can run over multi mode fiber (with which Cisco recommends using a mode conditioning patch cable) while LH-SM transceivers can only be used over single mode fiber.Hope this helps,Jeff
