I have a layer2 only vlan across different floors on a number of 6500s running IOS, is there a simple way to mark the traffic on that vlan efficiently instead of marking on hundred of ports manually ? Thanks for the input.

My routers are configured ospf area id as decimal value. Need to connect to mainframe which ospf area id configured as ip address format.If my router area is 22, what will mainframe ospf area would be? 22.22.22.22 ?

6509 with Sup720 running hybrid mode + FWSM:Created secured vlans on 6509, and MSFC interface vlans are down. Removed secured vlan from FWSM, MSFC interfaces are still down. Have to remove and reinstall interfaces.After that can't secure those vlans ...

I have a router which is connecting to a pair of 6509s running HSRP, can I build a tunnel between that router to the virtual HSRP address of the 6509s to acheive the redundancy.

I have 2 vlans: 100 and 101 on a trunk port of a 6509, how do I set vlan 100 with cos=5 so it gets higher priority than vlan 101. If you know where I can look for in Cisco site, please let me know.Thanks
