I have a Cisco 8851 IP phone with the multiplatform firmware installed. I can access the web UI but when i go to access the admin user it asks for a password. I have tried several default passwords as mentioned in other posts (Cisco, cisco, Admin,admin etc), but none have worked. I have also attempted hard reset using this post https://community.cisco.com/t5/webex-calling/reset-phone/m-p/4485275
I have also attempted to upgrade the firmare, but this also fails due to lack of admin access.
I am a home user and so dont have CUCM available.
Is there any way to reset the admin password without using CUCM ?
