2620 Easy VPN missing command???

Currently I am trying to configure a Cisco 2620 router to be an Easy VPN Server. I am running the Enterprise-FW-IDS Plus IPSEC-3DES IOS version 12.2(27).

I am following http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2308/products_configuration_example09186a00801c4246.shtml for specific configuration instructions.

My problem is that I get to the point where I need to define the client group configuration but the command "crypto isakmp client configuration group" is missing.

I am not sure why I don't have this command, but this is my problem. Anyone have any ideas???

According to the FEature Navigator (http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp), support for "Easy VPN Server" in the 2600 line didn't come in until 12.2(8)T, so it won't be in 12.2(27) that you're running.

Just in case you're not aware of how IOS Release numbering works, 12.x mainline (the train you're running) only gets bug fixes integrated into it, this is to ensure it is a relatively stable platform to run. New features, like Easy VPN Server, are all added into the 12.xT train. When the next main release is due out (say 12.3 in this case), the last 12.2T release basically becomes the first 12.3 release. 12.3 mainline then gets only bug fixes, and the new 12.3T train then gets all the new features added.

So in short, you'll need to run either 12.2T, 12.3 or 12.3T trains to get the feature you want.

I knew that the "T" signified a technology release, but I was not aware of that these features were not implemented until the next main stream release.

Thanks for you help and I will upgrade to the appropriate version of IOS.
