892FSP - Client-to-Site Remote VPN - Looking for guidance

Hey folks.

Trying to setup this Cisco 892FSP router to allow VPN connections from remote users offsite (at their houses), I've been told they should connect via Anyconnect. Looking for guidance or resources that might help me set this up, I've found some, but I keep running into walls with this.

> Here's our requirements:

1. Secure remote tunnel connection for up to 8 users at a time.

2. The clients should be able to VPN in, and then access company resources / servers.

3. I've seen split tunneling mentioned before; if they can browse the internet while VPN'd that would be ideal.

4. Once they VPN in, they receive a DHCP address.

> So, besides that here's a few questions I have:

1. Can we setup VPN on the router strictly through the CLI? If so, do you have links or instructions on how to do this.

2. I've got CPP Express setup and accessible, but there's nothing in there regarding VPN, am I missing something? Is there a better tool for setting this up?

3. How do VPN clients receive DHCP addresses?

4. Is Anyconnect the best tool for them to connect once we have working VPN?

If you have configuration steps to achieve client-to-site VPN I would love to have a look...

Seriously thank you for the help, this has been a bit of a struggle!

Hello @testtasetaseta

First off, does your router has license for VPN? FL-SSLVPN10-K9

Take a look here:

We probably don't have one as we only purchased the device as is. I wasn't even aware we needed one to be honest!

1. How much are licenses for up to 10 and 25 users?

2. If we purchase, will we receive support in order to get this setup on the router?

Thank you!

Hi @testtasetaseta

I have no idea about prices. I recommend you contact Cisco or Cisco Partner.
