After upgrading ASA 8.2 to 9.1 i am not able to manage via ASDM or telnet using host connected via VPN client.

After upgrading ASA 8.2 to 9.1 i am not able to manage via ASDM or telnet using host connected via VPN client. i am able to access all inside hosts behind the firewall. but just not able to connect the device for management purpose. It seems to me some NAT issue as that was the major change since 8.2.

Note: when upgrading from 8.2 to 8.4 i forgot to do no NAT before upgrade that was suggested in upgrade manual.

 

Please help. i have to RDP host for managing the ASA device.

Hi,

 

There are lots of thing you need to do before you migrate from 8.2 to 8.3+ versions of OS.

As you said one thing is NAT.... NAT has a major syntax changes....

Also you need to put the real IP address in the ACL, instead of putting the NATted IP address....
