A recent update to ESET caused an IP to be blocked that was resolved from "wpad.co.uk". After a lot of checking I have identified that the cause of this is my PC making a request to "wpad" and the DNS suffix "co.uk" is being added. This only happens when the VPN is connected. Checking ipconfig shows the DNS Suffix list contains our company domain "company.co.uk" but it also has and entry of "co.uk". I have checked everywhere on our VPN settings but cannot see where it is getting the "co.uk" suffix from. If I drop the VPN the list returns to normal.
Any ideas?
