I currently have Cisco AnyConnect licenses on my ASA firewalls, with users using AnyConnect Client 4.10.xxxx software on endpoints. If I want end users to start using the new Secure Client 5 software on their PCs, can I just upgrade the end users to the new Secure Client 5 application to connect to my ASAs, or do I have to purchase new Secure Client licenses and install those licenses on the ASAs before users running Secure Client 5 can connect?

No need license to upgrade secure client ver.
I.e. license dont care about the ver of secure client.

Great news!
When I do go to upgrade the ASA hardware though (FPR running ASA code for example), will the AnyConnect Apex licenses still work, or would I need to purchase new Secure Client licenses to install on them?

@RANT you will need to have valid entitlement for Secure Client software in order to access and download the client software.

He talk about VPN license in asa need if he upgrade secure client.
Also can you help him in his request to preserve the license during asa upgrade.
Thanks
