AnyConnect for Android packages not found on Cisco.com

Hi there,

I have been looking for the AnyConnect packages on the Cisco.com site lately (ICS+, KNOX and the legacy Samsung AnyConnect) and I can't seem to find anything.

I went to Google Play and was able to locate them, however, the only option I have is to install them on the current device I am surfing with (which is my laptop). When clicking on the Install button, I get an error saying software cannot be installed on computer, I chatted with the Google Play support and they told me that these packages could only be downloaded off an Android device.

Where does one can get a copy of these if he has to make them available to VPN users on an ASA?

Any help appreciated!

Hey,

Do you want to download the anyconnect package to configure on the ASA?

From which device do you need to connect through anyconnect vpn?

please see the below link to download the anyconnect client package:

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286281272&flowid=72042&softwareid=282364313&release=3.1.10010&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

Hi pjain2,

Thanks for your answer, much appreciated.

In fact, I found my answer. The Android packages need to be pre-deployed by downloading them from Google Play for example. These packages cannot be deployed by connecting to the ASA as is done with Windows or MAC OS and Linux packages.

Thanks again
