Hello, I have an issue whereby intermittently the anyconnect client (2.5.0217) will "forget" the URL and the user needs to retype it.
for example the Connect to: will say VPN.company.com/ict and users can connect no problem . Every now and again it will revert to VPN.company.com
I can't find a reason or pattern to why it happens. Anyone help?
Thanks.

Hi,
I think when you first use the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client and enter some address and username, the program writes and XML -file of the setting and use it in the future.
Mines located in:
C:\Users\
The file name is Preferences. If you delete this and restart the AnyConnect Client the info fields will be empty.
If you now enter the data and connect the VPN once, it will save the data to a new Preferences file on the above folder with the the data you just entered.
EDIT:
The Preferences -file contains for example the following lines:
- Jouni

Hi,
In order to avoid this, please create a host entry in the XML file, so the AnyConnect will use it during the client initialization.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks.
