AnyConnect Pre-connect string not working

Hi,

Using AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client, 4.5.03040 with ASAv 9.7.

I'm trying to configure a warning prompt for the users to accept, BEFORE they attempt to authenticate to the AnyConnect Client VPN.

So when they click Connect, I'd like the pop-up to appear. - This being a connection disclaimer they must agree to.

I've browsed to Remote Access VPN > Network (Client) Access > AnyConnect Customization/Localization > GUI Text and Messages, and Edited and saved the"msgstr" string value for "This is a pre-connect reminder message", and saved the config, and then closed and re-opened my AnyConnect client, but no joy.

Many thanks,

J

Hello @rl57a

You have to do the following:

Browse to Remote Access VPN > Network (Client) Access > AnyConnect Customization/Localization > GUI Text and Messages, and Edited and saved the"msgstr" string value for "This is a pre-connect reminder message", and save the config, connect normally and then close the connection, close AC and re-open your AnyConnect client.

After this try again the connection and you should see the message, the connection must be done since the AnyConnect needs to download the new configuration. Also keep in mind the Region since you are using en-us.

This was the trick "connect normally and then close the connection, close AC and re-open your AnyConnect client."

Thanks for your help :)
