AnyConnect VPN login fails

Hi,

I use AnyConnect 4.10.03314 to log on to several VPN gateways. Yesterday I started to get failed to load preferences for error message and did not get the logon prompt for any of them. Weather I used hostname or full URL for host address in the prompt.

As per the suggestions found online I removed and reinstalled the client. No change.

I removed all the files from C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile folder and restarted the  AnyConnect manager service. Than I entered the URL of the host and got the prompt and progressed through the authentication. But this still does not work for all the VPN gateways.

I have one that prompts me for the credential but that it sys logon failed. When the ISE admin can see the request did not come through to start with.

Never mind. I noticed the problem is resolved  if I include the group name in the URL of the one that is giving me trouble. Like https://vpnxxxxxx.com/group_name
