anyconnect VPN on windows 7 does not route

I connect to VPn with Anyconnect Secure mobility client v3.1.05152

But traceroute says it does not route properly over VPN

it does not see VPN at all

when I connect with another machine right next to it, it routes ok over VPN

I can connect both machines to exactly same gateway
and tracert routes like this
  1    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  192.168.1.1
  2     *        *        *     Request timed out.
  3     *        *        *     Request timed out.

other machine is Win2008 server, or another Win7 laptop

Microsoft support engineer directed me to you.

Hi ,

Please compare the "route print" of the working and non working devices. It should point you in the right direction.
If that is good, try setting up wireshark on the machines and confirm the packets are leaving the vpn adaptor . You can even apply simultaneous captures on ASA inside interface (where the destination is present) to confirm the packets are reaching the ASA or not.
