Can someone please verify that I cannot use the anyconnect vpn software to connect to PIX or VPN concentrator. If this is the case how would a windows 7 user connect to cisco VPN concentrator. Would going to an ASA be the only option?
Thanks for you feedback in advance.

Cisco has come up with Anyconnect VPN client for
64 bit and window 7.
Please go through following release notes for anyconnect:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/vpn_client/anyconnect/anyconnect22/release/notes/anyconnect22rn.html
You are looking for support of 64 bit on VPN 3000 and this is not possible
as this feature is not supported on it.

HI,
If replacing the concentrator with ASA is your option go with what Armando says.
Otherwise you can setup L2TP over IPSec for all kind of Window OS it conects with Windows NAtive VPN client

If conecting to a PIX/ASA shrew.net client will work. If conecting to concentrator, the shrew client has issues. It will connect, but won't pass traffic, so will need to upgrade to ASA.
