ASA 5510: VPN Client with MAC OS Lion 10.7.1 64 bit

Since there is no VPN Client for MAC OS 64 bit, we are trying to use the built-in VPN Client that natively comes with the MAC OS Lion 10.7.1 (64 bit).

Unfortunately the connection cannot be established successfully (Note that the connection can be established using the VPN Client on Windows)

Is there any solution for this problem? do we need to upgrade the ASA IOS maybe to make it work?

Please advise.

Patrick,

I'm not trying to point fingers here and you're free to open a case with us to investigate if there is anything wrong on the ASA side in term of tunnel establishment/passing traffic.

However I can tell you that multiple people moved from 10.6.x to 10.7 and are facing same problem with no changes done on Cisco side.

I did not yet see a proper long analysis of the problem, maybe there is something we need to adapt on our side, but if it is I'm not aware where it was documented.
