We pulled this firewall out of storage and put new ram in it and got it configured for client VPN. Before we put it into production I am trying to figure out the licensing on this device. The AnyConnect Essentials will that allow us to have 750 total client VPNs? We are not going to do any site to site vpns. We just want to know if this is over kill since we will only have maybe 10 to 20 people connecting at one time. I attached an image of our licensing.

Yes - the AnyConnect Essentials license will allow up to 750 simultaneous remote access SSL VPN clients.
It is probably the older 5520 or higher with the 750 peer license level.
You would be better served to buy an upgrade to AnyConnect 4.x license types. That will give you better support going forward as the old 3.x license types are end of sales and the code is not being updated. The new equivalent license are known as Anyconnect Plus. You will get the Anyconnect mobile device support with that as well.

Thanks Marvin, this is for a temp solution. I had to pull out an older firewall to set up VPN access. It is an older 5520. I was not given a budget for this so I have to roll with this.

Marvin gave you very good advice and he is quite correct that for a long term solution you would be much better off with the Plus license. But if this is a temp solution and you do not have a budget for license purchase then you should be able to put this into production and it should work for AnyConnect clients.

Hi,
I know this one is a bit old.
I have an ASA5515x with 250 perpetual Essential license on. I use the newest Anyconnect 4.xx
Is it correct when I says that I am NOT able to use licences, only the 2 Premium that insatlled, because of the "version-conflict" ?
