I am looking for some help to configure ASA510 vpn tunnel to work with a Avaya IP Phone. Has anyone setup this up.
Any assistance would be helpful.

Hi,
You have a VPN tunnel where the Avaya phone needs to communicate through?
Do you have the call agent on the ASA's local side and the Avaya phone on a remote site?
Is this a L2L or remote access tunnel?
Federico.

Ok,
So you should start by setting up the remote access VPN tunnel.
Then the phones should be able to register to the call agent.
Remote users should have a broadband internet connection to avoid VoIP traffic latency, jitter, etc.
And you may consider QoS through the VPN tunnel as well.
Federico.
