I'm in the process of getting a VPN for myself. My current router does not support VPN so I have to change it too.
I've been scrolling this VPN comparison website http://comparisonvpn.com for VPN candidates but I have no idea which one I should end up with.
Also which one of those work with a cisco router? I understand most of them work with something called DD-WRT router.
So the question is, could someone help me pick a VPN and a cisco router for home use? A small description of both would be helpful.
Thanks!

What sort of Internet connection do you have? ADSL? VDSL? Cable? Fibre? Ethernet?

ADSL2 50/20.

Cisco C887VA with advanced IP and SSL VPN (aka AnyConnect) would work well. You'll need to get a SmartNet with it initially. Don't expect a GUI.
