This request is around ordering , we are planning to deploy 2140 firepower for anyconnect VPN purpose and the core/distribution switches that we have are 3750-X WS-C3750X-48T-E & WS-C3750X-12S-E configured in a stack. We will be connecting firepower to the cores. We currently have ( Full-duplex, 1000Mb/s, link type is auto, media type is 1000BaseSX SFP) on the switches for uplinks to access switches switches. I also have some free Gigabit Ethernet ports on the switch.
The question is that when ordering 2140 firepower, what SFP's should i order to connect 3750X to 2140 and if i don't want to go with SFP's , are my ethernet ports good to connect to firepower.
Also if we have to chose between Ethernet and SFP ports given that cost is not a problem what should we go for and why.
