Hi All
Bit of a basic question but i cant find an idiot guide or this.
How do you do an IOS upgrade on the 877 ?
There is no boot command that i can find to tell it where to
boot from.
I will have to delete the previous IOS before i can put the new one
in - do i just do that and it just uses the IOS in the flash ?
Any help appreciated as i dont want to end up in rommon

The 877 is limited on flash so it can only hold a single IOS image in most cases. As you said, you will need to delete the existing image in order to store the new. I tend to configure the boot system variable out of habit but the router should load the new image by default.
