Cisco Aironet 350 PCMCIA drop VPN session

We have installed Cisco VPN concentrators three years ago.

VPN client never have much problem with authentication.

There are many users now use Cisco Aironet 350 WLAN card in home wireless network. Many Cisco Aironet 350 WLAN users connect with their home wireless DSL router (LinkSys, D-Link, or NetGear) and then establish VPN tunnel into VPN concentrator. Many of these VPN client will drop VPN session when cordless phone is used at home. Is this problem between Cisco VPN and Aironet 350 WLAN card? Or this has something to do with 'imcompatibility' between home wireless DSL router? Does VPN session require more signal strength? If it does, what will be the direction I can start looking into it for a solution. Thank you.

Hello,

As far as my knowledge goes, there is nothing like more strength needed for VPN sessions. All wireless communication should be same. I feel that most likely reason is the interference between the wireless network and the cordless phone. What cordless phones are they using? 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz?

It is 900 MHz cordless phone. Strange enough that a 900 MHz cordless phone will have interface with 2.4 GHz wireless network device - wireless router and wireless card.
