Hi
I am getting access denied error 41 when trying to connect to cisco VPN using anyconnect. The version I am running is 3.1.02040. The same version is running on another machine and it connects fine, using the same network and same user account. I've disabled firewalls and AV etc to no avail. The only thing different between these 2 machines is the make and model. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have any access to the ASA configuration?
There is the possibility that there are dynamic access policies (DAP) set on it to check for non-obvious differences on the remote hosts (domain membership, registry keys, Antivirus settings etc.)
Also, the ASA logs can point you to why it is refusing access to your client. There's a limit on what can be done troubleshooting it from the client side only.

Unfortunately I have no easy access to any logs, but you have given me somewhere to start - I will speak to our main IT department to determine if they can check the logs for me. Thanks for the suggestions
