I've installed Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client 2.5.0217 - Application Error on a laptop using Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3. When I shut the laptop I get the following error message :
vpnagent.exe - Aaplication Error
The instruction at "0x7c911689" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read"
Yours assistance in helping resolve this fault would be much appreciated.

Have you had the hardware checked on the laptop? For instance, did you run a memcheck and a hard disk check? If that isn't it, it may be an OS or Driver issue. I know I have had to upgrade some of my users to version 3 of the any connect because 2.5 was incompatible with current drivers.

I recommend testing the latest 2.5.2019 or 3.0.1047 clients on a single problem PC to see if the issue is reproducible. If the problem persists in the new client version, please open a service request with TAC so that we can troubleshoot this further.
