Cisco AnyConnect VPN client keeps reconnecting on Mac

Hi, I have version 4.9.04043 and running on MacBook Pro (2019) and mac OS Catalina, I have disabled Bluetooth and Airdrop, but it still keeps reconnecting every 3 minutes or so.

And it seems happened after it is upgraded to 4.9.04043.

Any ideas how to fix that. Thx.

I would suggest generating a DART bundle, and working with TAC.  Other items to consider:

-Is it happening across all clients?

-Are the troubled clients different in any way from a config standpoint?

-Have you attempted to uninstall/re-install same version?

-Have you attempting to run a newer version of the AnyConnect client?

Where can I download the latest AnyConnect client for mac OSX?

How do I provide DART bundle to TAC?

Thx.

when I try to download the latest from https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286281283/type/282364313/release/4.9.06037,

I got following even though I already signed in.

I am still facing the issue, frustrating, can anyone help?

is version 4.9.04043 is for Big Sur, not Catalina?

I acknowledge your frustration: Apple has pushed some major changes in the last two years and so the versioning compatibility can be quite an adventure to keep up with:

Let me point you to the following advisory we published in response:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/vpn_client/anyconnect/anyconnect49/upgrade/AnyConnect_macOS_BigSur_Advisory.html

I'd read this and post back any further compatibility questions.

But this guide is about how to workaround on Big Sur, I am running 4.9.04043 on Catalina and having keep-reconnecting issue.

Your best bet is to attain a Cisco DART bundle and work with TAC: or run the DART bundle open the anyconnect.txt file which can be found in the Cisco ANyconnect Secure Mobility Client folder inside of the dart bundle.

That Anyconnect.txt file should give you log messages from right around the time of the "reconnects/disconnects"

You can find what the issue is typically:

Here is a list of common "reconnection/disconnection" issues that you could correlate to those logs:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/asa-5500-x-series-firewalls/212972-anyconnect-vpn-client-troubleshooting-gu.html

I am getting the reconnecting issue every 5 minutes or so again, attached is the log file, pls take a look and tell me how to workaround it. thanks in advance.
