Cisco Anyconnect & Windows 10 compatability

Hi All,

I am facing the error "Failed to Load Preferences" when clicking the button "Connect" in Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility.

Below are the OS details & the version details of Cisco Anyconnect :

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility : 4.2.01035
Windows 10 Home Single language

I tried with version 3.1.09013, still seeing the same error.

I am seeing various discussions about the same error, but they were reported against Windows 7/8. All those solutions does not help.

Kindly advise.

Thanks for your reply.

I visited that page some time earlier. "Section B" talks about Windows 7 & 8, but not about Windows 10.

Also, those steps did not help me either.

Have you tried uninstalling it completely and deleting the folder? Then installing it again...

I faced a different issue with Windows 10 where I was able to connect without any problem but when I disconnect all my network connections (LAN/WiFi) would not work. I had to reboot my laptop every time I disconnect which was a pain. Got it fixed by updating the network card drivers for both and BIOS drivers.
