Cisco Anyconnect

Hi,

I have just setup anyconnect using the ASDM.

When i try to connect i get the following error message - The VPN connection failed due to the unsuccessful domain name resolution.

Any ideas would be grateful.

Hi Ash,

Generally this problem occurs when there is an XML Profile missing at location "C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile"

Also, you can check the DART bundle and search for the error that you get relevant to the date.

" The VPN connection failed due to ........"

That would give you the exact reason but mostly the chances are that the url you are using to connect is not getting resolved by the XML profile. Make sure that it is present in the XML Profile.
