Cisco ASA Anyconnect LAN access problem

ivanstankovic

Level 1

I have very simple network at my home with static WAN IP address ,  ASA serves as DHCP and gateway. plain network no complications at all.

X.X.X.X as a WAN

192.168.1.0/24 as a LAN

IP Pool 192.168.6.0/24 (VPN Pool)

I am trying to configure AnyConnect (AC) so that i can connect remotely and get my resources on the LAN network while outside. I am getting connected with AC, and when using split tunnel I am browsing the web just fine, but i have no access to LAN (no ICMP or TCP/UDP)

Route looks good in AC client

non secured network 0.0.0.0/0
secured network 192.168 .1.0/24

What am I missing for the LAN access ?, nat statement, access list..  ?

I'm not positive it's causing the problem, but I notice you have inconsistently defined the VPN pool as a /24 (in the name command and that name is associated with the tunnel-group) and a /25 (in the network object command which is further referenced in the NAT statement exempting NAT to that object). True your pool only assigns addresses from the lower half of the /24, but still....

I try to simplify things by using a single object for something like that which is used in multiple places. That avoids any discrepancies and using objects the way they are intended.

Very likely that could be the cause, typo (user error)
