I have Cisco Catalyst 4500 x switch in my Data Center. In that switch, the yellow light is on on the up-link port. What should be the problem ?

Look for interface errors in your switch or duplex mismatch

it's same.

In this case, here is more details

there is a pair of 4500 and pair of 3750 switches in data center. on the 4500, Te 1/1/10 and Te2/1/10 are connected to the Te 1/1/1 and Te 2/1/1 on 3750 switch.

The link between Te 1/1/10 and Te 1/1/1 is working fine but the issue is between Te 2/1/10 and Te 2/1/1.

I can see the orange light on port Te 2/1/1 on 3750 and in the configuration Te 2/1/10 on 4500 switch is in suspended state.

I am confused because the configuration is same at both the end and not able to understand why it is in suspended state.

Do someone has any suggestion ?

YELLOW light? Port is in disable or error-disable.

a port is in a suspended state.

HOW CAN I CORRECT THIS?

Post the complete output to the command "sh interface status err".

it shoews nothing.

Suspended state = etherchannel.
Is this port a member of an etherchannel?

When i hit the command Sh ether channel summary, it shows me in the list but when i hit the command,

Sh port-channel 10, it shows me only one member.

Group Port-channel Protocol    Ports

------+-------------+-----------+-----------------------------------------------

10     Po10 (SU)        LACP      Te1/1/4(P) Te2/1/4(s)

Here interface Te2/1/4 is in suspended state.

When i hit the command for sh int PO 10, this interface is not shows me as a member ?

Can you post the interface config of both Te1/1/4 and Te 2/1/4?
