Cisco ISR 4331 Support for Windows 10 VPN Client?

Is it possible to create a vpn connection to an ISR 4331 using the Windows 10 vpn client?  If so, does anyone have some reference documents, or configuration examples?

Hi,

You can use FlexVPN on the 4331 series router, this cisco guide is for Windows 7 but the concept should be the same.

I have a couple of additional questions.  

1. I noticed the example is configuring an ASA.  This should work for an ISR, also?  Already in another lab, we have the an l2tp/IPsec connection working using the Windows 10 VPN client.  However, I cannot get the connection working with an ISR 4331. The ISR commands are a little different than the ASA

2. The version of software is 3.16.04B.s.  Is it possible I need to upgrade before attempting this?

It does mention ASA but that is misleading, FlexVPN is only supported on IOS/IOS-XE routers, the guide will work on your router.

Yes, it's an old guide, but FlexVPN is a supported solution, so still valid on newer or older firmware versions.
