Hello Community, I am new here in this area. My main work is in VOIP stuff with Cisco U Communications Manager and arround all UC Applications. But I have special Question regarding Encryption.
I setup a Communications Manager with a third party application and the vendor would like to know if the CUCM works with SDES or MIKEY Encryption. Good Question. It has something to do with SRTP Encryption. I can´t really found nothing in the Cisco Security Guides.
What does it means:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SDES
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIKEY
What is SDES and MIKEY?
Cisco CUCM Supports SDES or Mikey, when yes, how could I adjust this?
I am really happy for any help.
Regards Armin

SRTP relies on an external key management protocol to set up the initial master key. Two protocols specifically designed to be used with SRTP are ZRTP and MIKEY.
Bur what kind of external key management is using in CUCM?
