Cisco VPN client 3.1 and Windows ME, Problems

Hello;

I have recently been tasked with setting up our VPN from remote/home users for my organization. What I have encountered is a problem with Windows ME. I can connect using CISCO VPN 3.1 and ME but the logon to the network challenge is missing the domain field. I am still able to connect to the network but I am unable to browse the network and when I try to connect to a share I get prompted for a user name and password, and the same goes for MS Exchange access. I spoke with the Admin. And he told me to set the MS networking to log into a domain. I tried this and I finally get the domain field in the network login. But still I am unable to browse the network or connect to any shares. Any thoughts?

I wonder if you should reinstall the client now that you’ve set Client for MS Windows to be the primary login.
