I would like to use STUN encapsulation to send a print job (Eracom ProtectHost) AUX port over WAN to a dot matrix Epson printer.

- serial s0/0 - encapsulation STUN
Both the equipments are connected to the routers serial port with DB60-RS232 (DCE) cable.I have configure Basic STUN but nothing happen when I do a test print.
The printer connected to the DB60-RS232 shows
DCD=up DSR=up DTR=up RTS=up CTS=up
The Eracom box connected to the DB60-RS232 shows
DCD=up DSR=up DTR=down RTS=down CTS=up
I tried to do a test print using my notebook printer port connect to the router using a null modem and the DB60-RS232. Both routers serial port signals are all up but when I do a show stun after sending a print job, there is no activity in the serial port.
The printer connected to the DB60-RS232 shows
DCD=up DSR=up DTR=up RTS=up CTS=up
The notebook printer port connected to the DB60-RS232 via null-modem shows
DCD=up DSR=up DTR=up RTS=up CTS=up
Is it possible to have such a setup working?
