Hi all,

I have question related to DDR and callback through ISDN BRI interface.

Iv read some guides to do that but I

still dont understand some commands.

Whot does dialer map ip 10.1.1.7 name dallas 81012345678902 mean, pls?

Need I configure that?

When I configure DDR with callback , need I configure dialer in-band on client peer?

How can I troubleshoot callback?

Hello,

I'm guessing your looking at this documentation with the Configuration Examples for PPP Callback.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1835/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00800ca6e9.html

Dialer map ip 10.1.1.7 means when I need to get to 10.1.1.7 which is the other side of the link dial 81012345678902.
