i have a couple of old devices at remote sites and i just found out that some have analog modems connected for OOB access. However, I don't have access to an analog line from which I can dial them. Is there any option that allows me to dial out fro a digital line but connect to the modem Thanks

Jon,
you would need an analog telephone adapter:

However, the whole purpose of OOB analog access used to be that you would be able to bypass the entire digital circuit, as the analog circuit was supposed to be more reliable. My guess is that anything analog must be so old by now that you might not even want to use that type of equipment anymore...

Thanks for confirming---long time since I've seen that sort of OOB either, or an analog line for that matter. Thansk
