we are about to migrate from checkpoint firewall to pix firewall.can anyone suggest the best practices so which the task is achieved with the less time duration .
I think the best practice would be to get all the rules of the checkpoint on a file, get information about your network, eg, inside network subnet, outside subnet, dmz's, servers on inside, access-restrictions from inside-outside/outside-inside etc. And then manually configure the PIX accordingly.
