Deployment fails

Newly installed VMS and 4210 with 4.1(3)S77. Everything seems to be working great except when I try to generate config changes (I created a few basic exclusion filters), the message comes back:

Generate failed: Sensor has pending changes. I look for pending changes, but everthing is empty. I'm very green in VMS and not finding much in way of documentation. Someone please help? Thanks in advance.

Problem solved, You have to go to the Pending tab, select the sensor, click save changes first. Then go to the Deployment Tab, Generate, then Submit. Just a gotya and it got me good. 5 steps to make a change to one filter on one sensor. Why not? It will keep TAC in business.
