What is the purpose of the bandwidth statement on the tunnel interface in a DMVPN configuration?
All of the examples are 1000. What is the effect of changing this on one of the spoke routers.
I can not seem to find any answer to this on the documention other then QOS OR routing preference.

Nothing really other than the routing protocols use it to determine their metric over this link, so increasing the bandwidth command makes OSPF for example, prefer that link over another one. It doesn't actually increase its speed or anything like that.

Ok, Thank you for the answer.
This is what we all thought, but the documentation , for DMVPN does not spell that out.

That's probably because it's not really a DMVPN-specific command, you can use it on any interface to change the routing metric on it.
