Encrypting http traffic over ipsec

Hi

I have configured my pix 501 for remote access vpn, what I need is to use my OWA (outlook web access) my mail server using ipsec secure connnection, even though i have written an access-list to encrypt the traffic with nat 0 command, it doesnt do the job, I can ping my network and map NT resources after successful connectivity, but http doesnt work, if I configure for split-tunnel it works but doesnt encrypt, it basicall bypasses the http traffic. Is there anyway I can use my IE for owa to access my mails with encryption, is there any configuration to be done apart from this?

It sounds to me like you are having an issue with Private and Public IP's...

When you access your OWA how are you accessing it? By name (http://.public.com/exchange)? What happens if you just access it by http://privateip/exchange?

There should be no problem accessing this from the VPN client so there is just a small problem that is keeping you from it :)

Hi Jason

thanks for your reply, I found the problem, its the proxy settings in my browser which doesnt allow me to access my OWA, when I use my dial-up (free internet access) thru my ISP i have to configure ISPs proxy settings, once i removed it started to work,

thanks again.
