Error problem on 1841 cisco router

The above error console message is coming on cisco 1841 router.

I believe that ASSERTION FAILED errors indicate a severely unexpected action or condition in the software. I believe that the appropriate thing to do is to open a case with the TAC on this.

Can ios upgrade can resolve this problem or what ios version.

I still believe that the best thing to do is to open a case with TAC about this problem. But if you do not want to open a case for some reason then upgrading the IOS would be a reasonable thing to do and would probably resolve the problem. I have been running 12.3(11)T8 on 1841s with reasonably good success.
