Exam 642-511

I'm using the CCSP Cisco Secure VPN self-study guide to study for 642-511 and recognize that it's a little dated. Has the 642-511 exam evolved to include recent items (newer products, OS levels etc.) or does it only include questions based on topics from 2003.

According to the Cisco web site 642-511 is still the current exam. Check out:

It says there that there are updates available for the Exam prep book. The self study book is second edition, 2004.

From my experience there are two type of books at Cisco Press for the exams: Exam Prep books and Self- Study books. I prefer the self-study books which are like school text books.

Does anyone know of any major differences between the first and second edition? How about the version of the OS being tested on the exam?
