Help giving a vendor VPN access ( PIX 506e)

Hello,

I am trying to give a vendor VPN access so that they can remotely monitor and diagnose their installed heating and cooling equipment. I dont know where to start and I apologize in advance for my ignorance. I am technically savvy but i have no Cisco knowledge base.

It is a PIX 506e firewall with PIX v6.3.

Hi Sebastian,

Please provide the following information:

Is this person supposed to access a segment of your network?

Is this person supposed to lose Internet access once connected to the VPN?

Is this person supposed to access resources by name (DNS)?

Do you have an IP range available for your VPN clients?

I can give you a template, so please let me know.
