I have AnyConnect 4.1.0411 installed on my Mac with Yosemite. It should be trivial to stop it from automatically starting up, but it's persistent.
- I have removed it from Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items, but it comes back on the next boot.
- I looked in [root]/Library/StartupItems but it is empty
- There is one item [root]/Library/LaunchAgents/comk.cisco.anyconnect.gui.plist
- There are three items in [root]/Library/LaunchDaemons:
- com.cisco.anyconnect.aciseagentd.plist
- com.cisco.anyconnect.ciscod.plist
- com.cisco.anyconnect.vpnagentd.plist
- There are a bunch of files in [root]/opt/cisco
- And about /opt/cisco I find it interesting that there is a folder called CustomerExperienceFeedback. Too bad I can't actually use it to tell how mad I am at AnyConnect being so invasive.
I don't want to delete AnyConnect; I just don't want it to launch on each boot. Anyone know how I can get it to stop?
