iphone app: vpn connects on cellular carrier, doesn't connect on home wifi

Hi there,

I'm able to connect to vpn using anyconnect iphone mobile while my wifi is off and I'm on my cellular carrier's network, but not when my iphone is connected to my wifi at home on Spectrum Cable. This occurs in multiple homes.

Any ideas?

If you are using to vpn to access the same network that your wifi in, it will not work! 

because both have the same public IP address!

my laptop works, on the same wifi network, using anyconnect. only my mobile and tablet aren’t connecting.
