IPSec VPN License on Redundent ASA?

Hello,

I have a pair of Active/Standby ASA.  Can I break the redundency and run each ASA as individual VPN end server?  How will the IPSEC license work in this scenario?

Currently, I see 5000 ipsec license on both active and standby asa.

Yes you can - the Standby can become a firewall in it's own right, but will always be a standby unit in a redudnant pair unless you change the license.
