ISDN Dialer Watch on multiple routes

If there are multiple IP segments to be watched configured under a dialer watch list, when will the ISDN backup link to kick in? is it as long as one of the watch routes is deleted from the routing table, or have to wait until all the watched routes deleted?

Hello,

when a watched route is deleted, dialer watch checks if there is another valid route for the watched IP address. If there is not, the link is considered down, and dialer watch brings up the secondary link.

If you have, as is the case in your scenario, multiple IP segments watched, it would be best to define a dialer watch-group for each one of those segments. You can define multiple watch-groups under the BRI or dialer interfaces.
